Tomorrow I will be leaving with my parents for a 9-day trip to the United Arab Emirates. I've been looking forward to this day for a long time! Since I don't have photography class anymore, I will no longer be posting regular assignments on this site. However, I decide to record my trip and some loving/heart-wrecking moments in the future. Stay tuned for amazingly beautiful sceneries from Dubai and Abu Dhabi in the next few days!

It was snowing! The fancy white world astonished me when I stepped out of my house. In this picture, the little grass is isolated by crystal snow around it, but it still grows bravely and firmly. It wasn't something I can normally notice if I am just walking by. Things small like that sometimes can be inspiring too, if only we slow down our pace and look around.
The white fuzzy-looking fluff was pulled off my hat for this assignment lol. The texture of my cotton scarf and the texture of the fur formed a striking contrast. The colour difference made the coparison even more obvious and interesting. I can feel the smoothness and softness of the scarf and the fluffiness of the fur just by looking at the photo lol.
From birds eye view, that rotting carrot looks yummy! Haha. It was getting dark outside when I went to my backyard to take pictures. I used flash for this photo. Following the rule of thirds, I placed the carrot at the intersection of two lines. The colour contrast is effective.
